Rule of thumb: at bay widths up to around 1,000 mm and with many shelves, the META CLIP shelving unit is usually the cheaper option. If you need continuous surfaces of more than 1,300 mm, or store bulky individual items, wide-span shelving comes into its own – large compartments, unobstructed access, fewer uprights.
