Product description
The MULTIPAL cable drum axle is a hot-dip galvanized support tube that you push through the bore of a cable reel and rest in the rack opening. The reel then hangs freely rotating in the bay and cable or wire can be paid off directly from the rack. The end bore (D=12 mm) accepts a locking pin or bolt that secures the axle against sliding out axially.
This version measures 42 × 900 × 42 mm, hot-dip galvanized finish.

Freely rotating reel. The tube acts as a rotation axle: the cable reel spins on the support tube so cable unwinds evenly and without tangling.
Secured via bore. The D=12 mm bore takes a pin or bolt and holds the axle positively in place – the reel cannot roll off sideways or fall out.
Hot-dip galvanised. The hot-dip galvanized surface protects the support tube permanently against corrosion and is therefore also suitable for damp or changing storage conditions.
Integrated into the MULTIPAL level. The axle rests in the existing rack opening of the MULTIPAL pallet racking and turns a shelf level into a dispensing station for cable reels - without an extra frame.
It is a tube with 42.4 mm outer diameter and 4.0 mm wall thickness at 900 mm length, hot-dip galvanized, with an end-side securing bore D=12 mm. The drum is threaded onto the tube, the tube is placed into the rack level and secured against shifting via the bore.
