Product description
The Spannschloss 60 (turnbuckle) is the tensioning element for the wire cross-braces (Drahtspannstreben) of the META CLIP rack. Fitted into the run of the diagonal wire bracing, its opposing-thread body draws the two brace ends together and puts the diagonal under defined tensile load, keeping the rack assembly laterally rigid and plumb.
This component weighs 0.06 kg, galvanized finish.

Bracing under tension. By turning the turnbuckle body you tension the wire strut tightly and prevent the lateral shifting (rhombus deformation) of the rack frame.
Re-adjustable. If a strut slackens during operation, you simply retighten the connection without disassembly and restore the full pre-tension.
Matched to the wire brace. Designed for wire tension struts with a wire diameter of 5.25 mm of the CLIP system - thread and eyelet mount fit without rework.
Corrosion-protected. Galvanized version for durable hold of the tensioning, even under normal storage room stress.
The turnbuckle is hooked into the wire tension strut as an intermediate link; the two ends grip the eyeleted wire ends, the rotatable centre body with left-/right-hand thread regulates the tension length. It is used in pairs with the wire tension struts where diagonal bracing of the upright frame or the rack rear is required.
