Product description
The Kabeltrommelachse (cable drum axle) is a hot-dip galvanised round tube that serves as a load-bearing spindle for mounting cable drums: you slide the axle through the drum bore and rest it on the cantilever arms so the drum turns freely and the cable pays out cleanly. This is the plain version without lateral bore, i.e. without a securing hole at the axle end.
This component weighs 3.31 kg, hot-dip galvanized finish.

Unrolling instead of cutting to length. The threaded-on drum rotates freely on the axle, so cable, wire or hose can be drawn off in a controlled way without lifting the drum out of the rack.
Hot-dip galvanised. The hot-dip galvanized surface permanently protects the axle against corrosion and is therefore also suitable for outdoor and yard storage.
Three usable lengths. The family covers three axle lengths, matching different drum widths and cantilever arm supports.
Plain design. Without the lateral 12 mm bore, the axle is a pure carrying spindle, with fast threading and removal of the drum and no securing pin.
The axle is placed crosswise into the cantilever arms of the rack and carries the threaded-on drum between two support points. As a Multipal system part, it adds a dedicated unrolling station to the META cantilever/heavy-duty rack; in addition to this smooth variant, there is a design with lateral perforation for a locking pin.
