Product description
The Kabeltrommelachse (cable drum axle) made from 42.4/4.0 tube is a load-bearing spindle that is passed through the bore of a cable drum and laid into the cantilever or shelf compartment. The drum then hangs freely and can rotate to unwind cable, wire or hose without having to lift it off the floor.
This component carries 537 kg per arm level and weighs 4.44 kg.

Drum rotates freely for unwinding. The axle takes up the weight of the drum and holds it suspended in the compartment, so that the cable can be pulled off the rotating drum cleanly and without effort.
Centering pieces for different bores. The supplied Zentrierstücke (centering pieces) compensate for varying drum inner diameters and hold the drum centred and wobble-free on the tube.
Sturdy steel tube. The 42.4/4.0 steel tube is sized for the load of heavy cable drums and stiff enough to rest without sag even under a full drum.
Fits the Multipal system. As an original META component, the axle fits precisely into the cantilever or Multipal compartments and can be retrofitted without modification.
The axle consists of a steel tube of dimension 42.4/4.0 and is supplied complete with centering pieces. It is available in three lengths (900, 1100 and 1300 mm), matching the compartment or drum width.
