Product description
The cable drum axle (Kabeltrommelachse) is a removable carrying and unwinding shaft for cable drums in cantilever racking: it is passed through the drum's core bore and set into two cantilever arms so the drum hangs freely and can rotate. This lets you unwind cable, wire or hose straight from the rack without taking the drum down.
This component carries 1,000 kg per arm level and weighs 9.9 kg.

Unwind without taking the drum down. The drum rotates freely on the inserted axle – cable is pulled off directly at the storage location, without taking the heavy drum down by forklift.
Centering pieces for various bores. The supplied centering pieces adapt the axle to different drum core bores and keep the drum centered and steady on the shaft.
Smooth-running plastic rollers. Via the plastic rollers, the drum runs evenly and smoothly without wearing the axle or the cantilever arm support.
Matched to the cantilever system. As an original META component the axle simply drops between two cantilever arms and is matched to the arms of the MULTIPAL / MULTISTRONG system.
The complete axle consists of the tube (diameter 60.3 x 5.0 mm) with centering pieces and plastic rollers on both sides and is available in three lengths (900, 1100 and 1300 mm) for different drum widths. The axle is placed loosely into the cantilever arms and can be removed again for drum changes.
